In the brand-new city quarter Q6 Q7, currently one of the largest inner-city shopping centre developments in Germany, Porsche Design opens their very first store in Mannheim. The premium-lifestyle brand presents itself and its iconic products in a completely new colour and material concept and provides the extensive collection with ample space.


DESIGN & FUNCTION ++ The design concept impresses with a high-quality and innovative look that brings the minimalistic and iconic aesthetics of Porsche Design to life. Reminiscent scenes from the history of motorsport – of course a part of Porsche’s DNA – are to be found on the walls as well as in the form of the 911 Soundbar in the display window. Design and function are equally integral components of the brand’s philosophy and are mirrored in the luxury furniture concept. The shelves and the furniture come together to form the perfect frame to present a wide variety of lifestyle accessories as well as the extensive range of sports and fashion pieces. The Timepieces Wall, which prominently houses the collection of watches, previously never seemed to float in the air so well. The module has been revamped, further optimising its appearance, feel and function.

REMINISCENCE IN THE DETAILS ++ The new colour and material concept, which was implemented for the very first time in a Porsche Design shop, required a process of adaptation. The concept comes to life through an elegant contrast between black and titanium grey and is to be found on the room’s shell, on the walls and ceilings, and most prominently of all in the furniture. The combination of black-lacquered wood and powder-coated metals in titanium grey provide give the concept that feeling of excitement.
