Bringing the world of Strauss workwear to life
Shopfitting by experts – cult products for makers and master craftsmen
COOL, AUTHENTIC, RICH IN DETAIL ++ Introducing the industry leader’s new workwear stores, showcasing its distinctive product range. Here exposed ceiling pipes and generous amounts of concrete, wood and metal make up the interior’s raw yet sophisticated industrial charm. Chandelier-style lighting and shining floors create compelling contrasts. Colourful accents are added with painted metal frames, piles of colour-sorted clothing and, above all, the luminescent cuboid structures framing the smartly attired mannequins – to eye-catching effect. Hero products, especially shoes, are masterfully presented in light-up glass wall cubes and glass display cases on concrete plinths.
The stores incorporate various references from the skilled trades sector into customers’ lives and work. Cable reels double as stools, products are presented on pallets, and crane components are mounted on the ceiling of the clothing department. The decorative wall and ceiling elements also include herringbone parquet, ratchet straps and stylised gears. The latter are printed on glass display cases hung on a wall painted in a white brick effect. The store is, quite literally, bricks and mortar.
